DID YOU FEEL IT TOO??!!

Mithas was talking animatedly to someone inside his room. He was telling him about the day’s happenings and was asking for advice. Well who was he talking to? His mom? His dad? His sibling? No, he was talking to sweet Bunny. His friend, caring brother and idol. Sweet Bunny is the imaginary character who provides all the emotional support Mithas needs and which hasn’t been given to him by his parents and others around. Mithas is the only son of his working parents. His father, a CEO, is home between 9pm and 9am, and his mother, a working executive, is home only post 6pm and leaves early at 8 am. They have arranged for a governess to take care of him, all of these factors have made him an introvert.
Many go through the experience of having an imaginary companion, be it a teddy bear that is forever there to give a big hug, or a pillow to talk to, and of course talking to the sky and so on so forth. It is quite amazing how and why children, teenagers and even adults see imaginary characters and relate to nonliving objects so intimately. Some of the reasons are very common to al the generations, loneliness and the feeling of being left out being the dominating ones. Most have friends, maybe good friends, but how many of them actually reveal everything about themselves to a particular person? Least of all their inhibitions about the other? Not many as they fear that they will offend their friend or bring a barrier between the two. Also the feeling that the other person might treat you differently, be it with more sympathy or look down on them, holds most back from opening themselves up.
In the case of Mithas, it was predominantly loneliness coupled with the want of love and care. He missed his parents and the things families did with each other. He was always pampered with toys, games, chocolates and so on. They thought that if he had most of these materialistic things he won’t miss them or their presence. But the yearning one has for a parent can only be felt and barely expressed, the closest one can get to describing it is, it is the feeling one gets while dropping from a great height and trying to grab on to something to break the fall. Mithas didn’t have many friends in school, even though he was exceptionally brilliant and talented. Those around him always used him and were what one can call “paper” friends. He had very few close friends, but was scared to open up as he didn’t want to be sympathised and pitied by them. They were the people he dint want to lose as he valued them very highly in his life.
Sweet Bunny ‘emerged’ into his life when he was in one of his ‘down’ moods. He had just watched Space Jam, the movie, and with Bugs Bunny being a big favourite, it struck him subconsciously. He woke up in the morning and found the bunny, with big ears and a squeaky voice, next to him. He was overjoyed to when he realized that he had a companion. He would fool around with him; pour his heart out to him, about girls, his feelings with regards to his studies and school. Here, Bunny helped him out. Basically it was his inner voice, his second being and the environment around coupled with his observations that had created this being.
In reality Mithas was dealing with the world on his own but thought it was the Bunny who solved the problems. The bunny was able to help him with his problems and made him shed his inhibitions. He became more confident about himself, and about dealing with life. In the course of time Mithas reached a stage where he had no more problems and started dealing with whatever cropped up on his own, which led to the fading of the Bunny. It was his creation and his sub conscious got rid of it eventually.
In the case of some children there may not be a Bunny but an Angelica. This figure has a resentful look at the world and this damages the child’s psyche. By the time he grows up, he would be full of hate and show antipathy towards everyone and everything. He would be a wreck and carnage around him with Angelica around for ever. It takes something dramatic to change this outlook.
The creation of these imaginary characters can be stopped and curbed if care is taken to ensure that no child is left on his own, feeling lonely and unwanted. Parents will have to play the central role, but it’s impossible to accomplish the job on their own in today’s world of nuclear families and work environment. The others around, like relatives and teachers, and the friends should be instrumental in moulding the life of the child. Playing pranks and teasing a person is one thing, while practical jokes and ridicule that cause a deep psychological impact and demoralization just because of jealousy or an ego clash is quiet another. A person should try not to inflict any hurt upon another, intentional or unintentional and if it happens, should own up and apologize. Not many remember the people who cracked jokes in the class, but those who caused pain and laughed at the other with condescension are always remembered.

“Take lives into your palms, feel it, hear it, then let it melt into you”

*Note: This post may seem like a semblance to the movie Doni Darko, but I have never seen the movie, hence I have not been inspired :D

would you play with me???!!!!!

Life is like a box of chocolates”, was what Tom Hanks says in Forest Gump, but for how many of us? Many of us have the brainpower to decipher everything exactly about the person standing in front of us, try to analyse him to the best of our ability and then pass a judgement on them.
And if we dint have the mental capacity, we would not have been able to do the above basic functions. Though not many of realise, but there are a lot of people in the world who don’t even have this basic ability and never grow up.

Yeah it is sure said that not being able to grow up is a boon and that every person has a child in his heart who never grows up, but not being to grow up at all is not a boon, it could prove to be a nightmare if one is not taken care of by the right kind of people.
Many of us would have seen if not interacted with these special children who never grow up because God wishes so. Around the world these special children are also recognized as being ‘mentally challenged’. The very thought that someone has to spend his life like that is very sad. For the very few whose parents can afford to take good care, there is some consolation, but for the rest the picture is not so bright. This is a problem which affects children belonging to all sections of the society. To be a parent of such a child is really heartbreaking.

To know that your daughter/son will never grow up and will not be able to live a normal life can break even the mightiest of them all. When you meet any special ‘child’ you are taken over by their innocence and curiosity. The way they react joyously when you give them something they like and when they are annoyed when they don’t get what they want or are given something of their dislike, is really touching, but they don’t have any prejudice attached to our actions. Like any small child does as soon as we say or do something nice they come back to us. Would you and I react the same way?? Even at our age?

The paradise of innocence lasts only for a small portion of a life but still the special ones’ have this imbibed in them. The child usually lives in his own world but is not able to comprehend why others shun him or why they don’t play with him and make fun of him .For the parents it is a very tough thing to handle. To try to make their child understand that it is not his fault and to be able to get him something as simple as play mate is difficult because of the very fact that some parents don’t like to see their kids or children mix with these children. Some are even thought of as being mad. When such a child comes to you, one doesn’t have an idea about how to be with the child. Most of us are apprehensive and don’t interact much, but what we don’t realise that what the child is looking is for is just a little company from a new person who could turn out to be among the very few playmates he has. If one makes a little effort to smile at the child the joy we would be giving the child will be more than what joy we get from seeing the child smile back.

“To make someone cry isn’t tough, but to make them smile sure is!”

One should try to be as considerate to all special people around us, no matter who or how they are, and act as nicely and joyously as one would with a small child. The more we try to improve our response towards others the more we can do towards improving the world around, not only in the humane aspect but all aspects of life. Though sensitivity and acceptance of the deprived and social outcasts is better, there is a lot a person can do to bring about a radical change in this social fabric and treat one and all equal irrespective of our mental, physical or economical capabilities .There are many people in this world who are suffering for no fault of theirs’ like children who are directly or indirectly affected by HIV and have no future because of someone else’s mistake. On the other extreme are senior citizens leading a refugee’s life in old age homes and passing away their existence in loneliness’ and depression. One step towards a change in attitude towards the young and the old would not only change their lives but ours too as even we have to go through it at the fag end of our life and if we don’t take action we will be at the receiving end. Let us hope that we can at least bear the fruits of the sapling we plant & nurture.

Spiritually yours!!!

Picture the scene in most rooms of innumerable students around the world just before they leave home to appear for an examination - no matter how big or small it is. Almost all of them will be praying to a particular God or something they consider as a supernatural power. However, how many of us truly respect the super powers other than when we think we need their help? Whenever something good happens, most forget to thank the powers - even when it is a big achievement or something that the person had wished/asked for from these very super powers. Do we really have a right to treat the powers so shoddily??.
Isn’t this the case with most of us, not only in our spiritual lives but also in our day-to-day relations?
I know I am asking many questions which most of us are not comfortable with answering, to the extent that few may consider it none of my business. Nevertheless, taking a bit of liberty and poking my unwanted nose in others’ business, I shall proceed.
Many question the whole concept of God. It is said that religion was formed to bring order to the society millennium ago. Well the way society is moving nowadays, it looks as though the objective has not yet been successfully achieved. The mind of a person not only yearns for a power to look up to and depend on - for most of his miseries - but also to escape the inevitability of death. However, a lot of us have no choice but to put up a brave face about death when actually faced with the reality of it, either through a close encounter or through the death of a close one. The loss of someone without whom you could not think of carrying out your life really hits hard and many struggle to recover.
The thought that there exists a life after death or even rebirth makes it easier to accept death. Hence, would paying respect to these sources of strength and stability be correct? The answer is an emphatic YES. The atheists of this world are most of the time leading unstable lives. Not many of them are famous or successful either. How many famous people that you know are atheists? This clearly shows that the successful people need something to help them to move ahead in life while being amazingly strong mentally. This highlights the need for us to remember the powers that are - even when we are elated and happy.
Many people may say it is a matter of ethics and principles, which is not quite a part of the present world. However, the part within us that we refer to as ‘conscience’ always manages to poke the question ‘are we being true to ourselves and the almighty?’ whenever we ask for the next favour, the next after that, and the next and so on. We manage to sidestep this question and move along. Moreover, when we do succeed we forget the very entity on which we were so dependant just a while back. We do not realise that praying is the mind’s way of self-counselling (saves the big bucks spent on the shrink!!). We expect others to show gratitude when we ourselves do not show gratitude on reception of a favour and lose respect in the eyes of others. The joy that one can see in the eyes of the underprivileged when a courteous word is directed towards them is truly heart warming and to give joy is the best way of receiving it.
Our conscience and state of mind is the deciding factor in who we turn out to be. It’s for us to mould these entities so as to create an individual who is self righteous and full of gratitude. He should be able to recognise that directly or indirectly the supernatural powers are responsible for his well-being and should not forget them for even a moment in joy or grief or boredom. The person who can imbibe these attributes will be rest assured of a successful and mentally stable and happy life.

"Let the mind sore into the realm of heaven and it will do onto you what you desire"

till death do us apart.!!!

The words “till death do us apart” have always been synonymous with a bond between a man and a woman. However some rock and roll stars have managed to form a similar bonding with their fans. When ever the news that a star has died is announced, there is a shock, disbelief and a pall of gloom sets over the star’s fans. Some of the deaths are caused due to the rock star him/herself, and some are due to accidents. The loss of a talent so immense and unique is truly regrettable as most of the deaths are caused because of recklessness. A little care would have been enough to avoid most deaths. Given below are lifes and acts of some famous ones who died young.

1. Jimi Hendrix was and is still considered one of the greatest guitarists ever, even though he had only four years fame which began on October 6th 1966 when he formed his band THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE. The band‘s very first single ‘hey Joe’ was a top 5 single. Hendrix was also a great crowd puller and live act (famously for torching his guitar and smashing it on stage). This lasted until the summer of 1969, when he was arrested for possession of heroin, following which his hit band disbanded. Then while on tour in Europe, during a stayover at a London hotel, he took some sleeping pills to sleep through the next day. He was discovered unconscious the next morning by his girlfriend and rushed to the hospital. He was pronounced dead at 11.25 am. The cause of death was indirectly due to drug overdose and narcotics. The drugs had caused him to vomit and he suffocated on his own vomit. The last lyrics written by him for a song the day before his death were “the story of life is quicker than the wink of an eye, the story of love is hello and good bye until we meet again.”

2. John Lennon is often regarded as the most popular Beatle going on to become hugely successful in his career, which followed the break-up of the Beatles. His songs such as ‘imagine’ had a humongous liking and he had become an icon (firstly because of the Beatles) in the music industry. When Lennon arrived home, on December 8th 1980, following the recording and mixing of a new Yoko Ono single, ‘walking on thin ice’, and got out of his limo he was shot five times in his back and shoulders by a mad man Mark Chapman, who waited for the cops to arrive and arrest him. Lennon died in the emergency room; his death was caused by massive loss of blood. Chapman was suffering with schizophrenia in which he believes himself to be John Lennon. Only by killing the "bad" (external) John could he get on with is own life as the "good" (internal) John. It seems that he was a born-again Christian, and deeply troubled by Lennon's various remarks about organized Christianity, thus making him "bad". On his last day of work in Hawaii (his home), Chapman signed out on his time sheet as "John Lennon". The world had lost another great musician to an unnatural death.

3. James Douglas Morrison was the lead singer of The Doors, the band he which he created along with Ray Manzarek, and is acknowledged to be a very fine singer. The band, along with Jim, rose to great height between 1964 and 1970.but the fame had its repercussions on Jim. As the fame increased so did his addiction to alcohol and drug experimentation. But in 1970 he retreated to Paris with his wife, Pamela. He retreated to Paris because he had become disenchanted with the fame he had received as The Doors' front man and upset by the lack of seriousness with which he was taken as a poet. Paris offered a sanctuary. It was the home of Arthur Rimbaud, his most powerful literary influence. He hoped that this new atmosphere would allow his to find a sense of himself in the world and provide him with inspiration to create fresh poetry. Unfortunately, this goal was never achieved. Instead, Jim was left uninspired and severely depressed. On July 3, 1971, Jim was found dead in the bathtub of his and Pamela's Parisian apartment. His body was then promptly buried at the Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris.
Although the circumstances of Morrison's death have been debated, it is now believed (as reported in Patricia Kennealy's book, as well as Jerry Hopkin's book The Lizard King: The Essential Jim Morrison) that Jim's death was indirectly caused by Pamela. Whether doped up herself or not, Pamela reportedly allowed Jim to snort up a large quantity of heroin, which he believed to be cocaine. This sudden ingestion of such a large quantity of a drug he had never used before led him to hemorrhage internally, which sent his body into a state of shock, and eventually led to the heart attack which killed him. Jim Morrison died at the age of 27. There were many speculations about Jim Morrison’s death from the absurd to the not so true ones. Some believed that he had staged his own death and that he was a CIA agent. Some believed it was because of Voodoo or Voudun philosophy as he claimed connections to the occult. There were many sightings of the rock star. Lot of men claimed that they were Jim Morrison and had very believable and hard to shake stories.

4. Janis Joplin was Rock and roll's first female superstar; Janis Joplin showed that women could be rock singers. Almost 30 years after her death she is remembered as the best white blues singer of the 1960s. Famous for her incendiary stage performances, her masochistic tango with the bottle, her tumultuous love life, and her fatal dalliance with drugs Joplin started off as a 17 year old when she ran away from home and started by performing as a singer in Texas. She was initially a part of a band called ‘the big brother and the holding company’ and formed a new group ‘the full tilt boogie band’ just before her death on October 4th 1970, while recording her next album ‘pearl’. She had succeeded in procuring an illicit drug, a batch of heroin that was more pure than usual. She accidentally overdosed in the Landmark Motor Hotel in Los Angeles at the age of 27. She was cremated and her ashes were scattered off the California coast. Her famous words being “the more you live, the less you die”.

5. Kurt Cobain, front man of the band Nirvana, was found dead on the morning of April 9th. The Seattle Police Department had confirmed the conclusion that Kurt Cobain committed suicide. Cobain already had undergone a near-death experience in Rome earlier in the year that may or may not have been a suicide attempt in which Cobain digested nearly fifty pills called Rohypnol. He also locked himself in a room with a .38 caliber pistol and said he was going to kill himself after a dispute. Kurt Cobain was also notorious for hating his fame. He was once quoted as saying, "I'd rather be dead than cool." Kurt Cobain also had stomach pains that sometimes caused him to vomit air because he could not even hold down water. Cobain's marriage and band were both on the brink of breaking up. The pieces of the puzzle seem to fit together perfectly. The suicide note, the pain, the history of Kurt Cobain, and the attitude everyone perceived Kurt possessed pointed to suicide.
To the public, Kurt Cobain appeared suicidal. To those who knew him, he didn't. Kurt Cobain's best friend had said that Kurt was "not at all" suicidal. Another one of his friends, Mark Lanegan said, "I never knew Kurt to be suicidal." (Cobain's former attorney, Rosemary Caroll, who believes Courtney Love had Kurt Cobain killed, does not believe Cobain was suicidal. Even those who would know best if Cobain was suicidal or not, the expert therapists at Exodus Treatment Center where Kurt sojourned shortly before his death, did not consider him to be suicidal. The depressed attitude of someone who commits suicide did not fit the interview Kurt gave to Rolling Stone on January 27 of that same year. Cobain said "I still see stuff, descriptions of rock stars in some magazine- 'Sting, the environmental guy' and 'Kurt Cobain, the whiny, complaining, neurotic, bitchy guy who hates everything, hates rock stardom, hates his life.' And I've never been happier in my life." As for the song, "I Hate Myself and I Want to Die" Cobain said, "Nothing more than a joke. It was totally satirical, making fun of ourselves. Here was another rockstar whose death is still under speculation.

6. Elvis “Pelvis” Presley is widely regarded as the king of rock and roll and to date is counted among the artistes having the most number of number one hits ever. He was the artiste, who gave us Jailhouse Rock, Love Me Tender, Truckin’, Falling In love and so on. Till the Beatles came along he was the biggest sensation of that generation and is even now his style of singing and dressing is imitated by many. He was also a popular actor starring in movies like Loving You, Blue Hawaii, and Jailhouse Rock. In his concerts of the 1970's, Elvis were heavily ornamented jumpsuits, often with a cloak for his opening appearance on stage. Worth thousands of dollars a piece, these suits could weigh up to 30 pounds.
Elvis toured the United States from 1970 onward, to wildly approving crowds. In 1976, he played in a total of 74 cities, and in 1977, before his death in August, he played in 50. A double album was released, Elvis Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite. After the performance Aloha From Hawaii was shown live on television in 1973. Elvis continued to amaze large crowds in Las Vegas up until he finally retired and later passed away on the 16th August 1977 from a drug overdose in his bathroom. The after effects of the Aloha to the King are still felt. He is the richest dead star; his songs generating a huge amount of money in the form of royalties from the recording companies.

There are many more examples of rockstars having reached their end before their time. Three are many others like the country singer John Denver (plane crash), Metallica bassist Cliff Burton (car crash), Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham(choked on his vomit after getting excessively drunk), Chicano star Rithchie Valens(plane crash), The Who drummer Keith Moon(overdose of prescription pills, he took 32 of them at one go!). One just wishes that these icons and demi-gods of the entertainment industry had been a bit more sober and not so wild in their lifestyles. Had they been so, their talent could have enthralled millions more for a longer period. “There are those who don’t have talent and work hard to gain fame, and then there are those who have loads of it but throw it away by stupid acts which are fatal.”

black or white??!!!

yullo !!!
seeems like a lot of people out there dont have such a great love for the colour of passion, red!!

herez a nice little sometihng on music whose essense are the colours BLack and White.{ i know few of you smart alecs will say that black n white are not colours because of blah blah blah, i am a comman man using common terminology} so here goes . . . . . . . .

The term black or white is synonymous with a lot of things. It is a comparison between the good and the bad for some, between legal and illegal for some others and for a lot of people the difference in skin colour. It is this comparison and differentiation that has made and destroyed many a life. It has made a huge psychological impact on some to the extent that they become obsessed with and try their best not to be identified as, in most of the cases, ‘black’. They try their best to mix in without being identified .One of the most famous cases being that of the king of pop “Michael Joseph Jackson” or simply MJ to many.
Michael Jackson was born in the year 1958 and has lived all but the first four years of his life in the public eye. He was the youngest in the group of five brothers known as ‘The Jackson Five’. In the 1960s their parents pushed the brothers Jackie, Tito, Marlon, Jermaine and Michael into talent competitions and then into supporting soul acts on the live circuit - where they learned stagecraft from the likes of James Brown, The Temptations and Gladys Knight. MJ became the lead vocalist and the front man of the group. Despite being very young to be singing about such emotions, he managed to make chart-toppers like I Want You Back and I'll Be There completely credible.
By the time he was aged ten the Jackson Five had signed to Motown Records, which was their pathway to success and superstardom. In the US the Jackson 5 had 16 top 40 singles between 1969 and 1975, and three top five LPs in 1970 alone, including the song “I want you back” #1 in US in ’69 and #2 in UK the following year. But this success, occurred at the cost of their childhood, as told by Taj, son of Tito, who said, “my uncles never had a childhood”. The five brothers used to be bullied and beaten up by their father, Joe, as was admitted by MJ, on Oprah Winfrey’s show, were he spoke about how tough it was for him to go on stage after getting beaten up by his father. He described his father as being very hard, strict and stern. MJ went to say that there had been a lot of sadness in his life.
This had a huge impact on the mind of the man who has the distinction of being inducted in the Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of fame twice, first on May 6, 1997 as part of the Jackson five, and on March 19, 2001 as a solo artist. MJ’s album Thriller, released in 1982, has the distinction of being the most successful album of all time having sold over 47 million copies worldwide and it fetched him 12 Grammy nominations with him taking eight home. MJ has won many other awards, which include Best Selling Male Pop Artist of the Millennium Award at the World Music Awards, and the Living Legend Award at the 35th Annual Grammy Awards. He has many number one and top ten songs to his credit and his songs have found place in the best 100 Music Videos of all time as declared by the ‘Rolling Stones’ magazine. Michael was listed as the #1 male artist with the "Most #1 hits by the Billboard magazine when they released their list of the best artists and songs in the last four decades on their fortieth anniversary. He had also landed the largest individual sponsorship deal in history from Pepsi in 1983 and his involvement in the 1984 Victory tour sparked the greatest demand for concert tickets ever. "Making Michael Jackson’s Thriller", a long form video, released in December 1983 became the best-selling music home video.
But even though he had all this success and a huge amount of adoration, not only for his singing but also for his amazing dancing abilities (including the phenomenal Moonwalk), Michael was starting to become more and more weirder. He started wearing masks to his concerts and underwent numerous plastic surgeries, which have changed the very colour he represented. His skin colour is now completely white which he has blamed on a skin pigmentation deficiency. There were rumours abound that he is obsessed about ageing and that he had taken drugs to change his skin to white. He is also said to have gone home without removing his make up after performances. His marriage to Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis' daughter, in 1994 was claimed by many as a publicity stunt. The marriage did not last for long. MJ went on to have children with another woman, Debbie Rowe, in 1997 who divorced him two years later. The couple have two children, Prince Michael Junior, born in 1997 and Paris Michael Katherine, born in 1998, both of whom are with MJ. His latest album ‘Invincible’ released in late 2001 was his first in six years, but proved to be nothing more than a damp squib.
MJ also has begun to lose his image in the public’s eye after allegations of child abuse, prominent among them was the one made by a 13 year old friend in 1993. MJ later settled with the boy’s family for 20 million dollars in 1994, after which the criminal investigations against him were stopped. MJ categorically denied the rumours and now is trying his best to regain the confidence of one and all with a lot of charity work for children in particular. Many of MJ’s videos in the 90’s have children in them and show Michael in a good light.
This might be the result of his bad childhood taking the toll on him now. He is said to be very fond of animals and toys and is surrounded by them in an attempt to recapture his youth. But as is known all over you can never go back in time no matter how hard you try. All of us go through the emotionally turbulent transition phase from childhood to adulthood but few do not make it through and remain stuck in this phase. MJ has done lot of impromptu actions while facing an audience. Most recent of all, he hung out a baby out of his balcony window when his fans were cheering for him outside. This drew a lot of flake and he later apologized for it going onto say that it was a most irresponsible thing for him to do.
But where all will this take the ‘Prince’ to. Will he fade into oblivion at the age of 44?an age at which lot of people just begin their journey upwards on the ladder of fame at the top of which MJ has stayed on for forty years. Will his obsession with health and ageing eventually lead to him dying prematurely?. It is said that he has undergone so many surgeries on his nose that there is no skin left to graft. With his skin like moonlight being more prominent now than his moonwalk MJ is the classic case of wanting and becoming what you are not and stand for. He is remembered by millions across America as the cute black kid who was so well poised and sang love songs very innocently. All his chart busters came at a time when his skin tone was still black. That “Invincible” was such a big flop goes on to show that the changes of colour and identity have harmed Michael and his career. Even though the Jackson five were probably the most popular blacks after Martin Luther King Jr, Michael maybe a victim of the racial stigma that affected scores of his fellow African-American countrymen. He maybe feeling that unless he becomes ‘white’ he is not going to be an integral part of the crowd. This very thought has destroyed a lot of people in the United States of America.
It is said that even though the Jackson Five’s childhood’ was incomplete they illuminated millions of other childhoods with some of the most infectious and joyous dance music ever made. The joy of which will never be able to work on MJ. Racial profiling is the biggest and worse crime committed all over the world after religious discrimination and probably surpasses it in terms of the hurt and pain it causes leaving deep scars and unhealed wounds in the souls of the affected.
Most of us here in India are proud that there is no discrimination based on colour, but overrule the fact that caste differences and underlying political agendas have lead to us not lagging far behind. The Indians settled in USA and most non-Americans are now undergoing the same profiling after the 9/11 attack. Even the most popular Indian entertainers like Aamir Khan and Kamal Hassan have had to face intense interrogation in US airports because of their names. A group of Indians travelling to US of a performance were thought to be hijackers because of the way they were ‘behaving’ on the flight.Well maybe we should not be saying much against this, because a country, which nearly eliminated its original inhabitants and is so double faced in that it was the country to which all those who were looked down upon and treated badly in United Kingdom and the rest of Europe migrated. The country of ‘equality’ and ‘freedom’ has now reached a stage where in its own people vehemently oppose any war against others where in US is only trying to prove its superiority through other excuses. The scars of the Vietnam War still run deep in the hearts of many. This has also had a lot of effect on the young. The Columbine high school shoot out was followed by many such incidents even though precautions were taken. Child abuse has taken a new meaning and a found new messiah in Eminem a.k.a Marshall Mathers, a white American, whose videos and songs are all about how he was treated in his childhood and the spite inside him for his mother among other people. The song “I am sorry mama” only emphasises it further. Probably Slim Shady, as Eminem is popularly known as, will become the new victim of American policies and be hailed as the King of Rap, stepping into a domain of blacks, overshadowing MJ, the King of Pop

lessons, ferrari, manutd n passion

This is my second one and i am going to talk about how hard it is for me to be writing this. i got advice from my experienced ones to improve on my abysmal spelling and also to cut out on the short forms. here is an attempt at that. am willing to do all this because am very happy, my favourite football team, manutd{ am going to take liberty on the short form here} champions of champions ( warning: my patronage can go well over board on this one) finally won a match in the EPL and the greatest car of all time, Ferrari { notice that both are red, my favourite colour} finished one-two. my two passions reached a climax together after a long long time!!! hope the resulting fertilization is fruitful.
sports is a passion for most men, wanting to drive the fastest car which they cant own, and to slug it out on the field which except .003% of the 4 billion men cant achieve, but, but, but its the male brotherhood that makes the lonely fat man on the couch epitomizing the song "lazy" feel as though he is the one who has triumphed!!! you can count me in!!! i guess most humans agree that sports and cars are the only things that can tear away our eyes from the booty, rather beauty of Angelina Jolie!!
passion is a strong word, but strong words are what's lacking. to be confident and to put across a point, beating around the bush is never helpful, nor is standing behind someone else bigger waiting for your turn. you gotta use strong words, strong action and a very strong voice to ensure you get it done!!!! that's why even though we are a billion plus strong, we are searching for leaders and having news channels and the masala times having mega searches for leaders!! ain't this gigantic democracy full of crazed, hypocritical, diabolic and disgraceful politicians ever going to do it?? easier said than done is what you might say, but the fact remains as astounding as it sounds, we have reached a place now where we are valued and being noticed, vultures may try and try, they will wait with all the hyenas to rip us out from within, but 60 years of survival has come and i am quite proud that the biggest liability namely population has started reaping its benefits. Indians are diligent and don't use extra brains most of the times. this helps enormously to aid and guide, what if we lack in world famous and endeared sportsmen, our people are leaving a collective stamp which says, here we are, back again to the place where we belong, right among the world's elite, as we had from thousands of years. i would end by saying that the modern world, esp USA would never have come into being if not for the great crippling need of the Europeans to reach the Indies, mera bharat mahaan:)

tonit's just been abou markin all my unread mailz { a few thousand of dem} as read n clearin t inbox!!
i've alwayz wondered how it is to keep mails on waitin list n gettin back or not after a few months!! i guess t email revolution has brought wit it t king of time pass a.k.a BAkET, checkin forwards n tryin to figure out how t other person cud hav willed himself to send it to all her/his contacts!! hs to be out of angst or sheer plasurer of seein others suffer like they did!!

one thing that really irks me is smart ppl behaving dumb!!!! i can forgive a moron, coz he is noe, but a regular person who has little sense on t top floor being dumb can be used by t next Frued to say that it was all caused by all t visits to t zoo n cubbon park in school!!!

intelligence is not wat u hve but how u use it!! smart women r alwayz around, but somehow don want to b a part of t intelligenia!!

being around { or round;)} for 24yrz has made me realize that small thingz r the key!

just looking back @ mera beeta bachpan makes me smile n bringz out t small round chimp in me!! one has to give away a part of himself, take a lot on n be willing to laugh at oneself to chillout!!! just like ramesh powar does :p!!!!! music can b such a mood elavator, i guess i can safely say that songz like "kariya i love you" n " tick tick tick" should be heard by everyone atleast twice a day tp pull u out of les miserablez!!

finally i will end wit t awesome lyricz of a random kannad song
